No Rest for the Wicked Hotfix Improves Performance, Increases Tool Durability

Improved drop rates for Clay and other rocks at digging spots, critters and enemy spawns in Nameless Pass are also live.

Moon Studios’ No Rest for the Wicked launched into Steam Early Access last Thursday and received a mixed response due to various issues, including performance. Nevertheless, the development team has been quick to address many of these. Its second hotfix is now available, improving the overall performance of rendering, visual effects and fog.

The performance during the Ship Prologue should also be improved, while Balance and Performance Quality modes have seen additional optimizations. Other changes include increased tool durability, with Tier 1 starting at 100 while Tier 3 maxes out at 150. Food costs are also more balanced in cost.

Clay and other rocks should also have improved drop rates when digging, and various critters should spawn more frequently in some areas. You should also see better enemy spawning in Nameless Pass alongside more loot.

Check out the full hotfix notes below. No Rest for the Wicked is only playable on PC, but it’s also coming to Xbox Series X/S and PS5 later.
