The remake is in development for PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X/S, and PC, and is currently without a release date.
Since its announcement nearly a year ago, other than an in-engine montage of some in-game environments, weâve seen very little (if that) of Metal Gear Solid Delta: Snake Eater. That slow drip of new morsels is continuing. Konami recently offered a glimpse of the upcoming remake in a âproduction hotlineâ video uploaded to YouTube, and though no gameplay was shown, the gameâs title screen was showcased.
The title screen shows the camera slowly zooming in through a dense jungle environment while familiar music and wildlife sounds play in the background. Pressing start, meanwhile, is accompanied by a gunshot sound that series fans will find all too familiar in a main menu screen. Check it out below.
Of course, thatâs a pretty tiny tidbit to reveal for a game that weâve already seen so little of. That said, Konami does have a larger video presentation planned with more details and announcements related to the Metal Gear series, so hopefully weâll be seeing more of Delta soon.
Metal Gear Solid Delta: Snake Eater is in development for PS5, Xbox Series X/S, and PC. According to PlayStation, itâs coming this year.
