WILD HEARTS Murakumo 1024x575 1 WILD HEARTS – Lethal Blossoms Update Arrives April 6th, Adds Murakumo and Spinning Top Karakuri

The new fox-like Kemono uses sakura petals to move and attack. Other new additions include Core Orbs for enhancing gear further.

Fresh off of adding Grimstalker and new armor and weapons to WILD HEARTS, Omega Force has announced that the next big content update, “Lethal Blossoms”, is live on April 6th. It adds a new Kemono species – the Murakumo, a fox-like monster channeling petals to attack and look fabulous. Check out the trailer below.

Getting close to Murakumo can prove tough, since it can create platforms out of sakura blossoms and jump on them. It also unleashes a tornado when enraged, which can easily knock out players. Fortunately, there’s a new Karakuri tool – the Spinning Top – to even the odds. It bounces off the environment and Kemono, going faster and gaining power, with the potential to stagger a foe.

Core Orbs are another new addition, earned from Volatile Kemono and used to upgrade weapons and armor further. You’ll get different Core Orbs depending on the Kemono, and each armor has different effects based on the enhancement.

There’s even more to come next month. On April 20th, a new Deeply Volatile Kemono, Deathhaze Gloombeak, is being added. There will also be new Serial Hunts, which task you with hunting as many Kemono as possible before falling.
