Season 1’s Sovereign Armor, new Legendary weapons, new random rolls for Hawkmoon and Dead Man’s Tale, and more are also available.
Xur has returned to Bungie’s Destiny 2 and currently resides in the EDZ on Earth until the next weekly reset. He’s selling Trinity Ghoul, an Arc combat bow, for 29 Legendary Shards. If you’re a new player, pick this up – it’s one of the best Exotic weapons in the game.
When hip-fired, its arrow splits into three. Aiming down sights and firing at full draw reduces the spread, which makes precision kills easier. Score a precision kill, and your next shot gains “Lightning Rod,” adding chain lightning. The Exotic Catalyst allows Lightning Rod to proc off all Arc damage. So that means your abilities, Arc Soul kills, and even chain lightning kills.
New random rolls are available for Hawkmoon and Dead Man’s Tale. The former gets Hammer-Forged Rifling, Eye of the Storm and Combat Grip. The latter has Hammer-Forged Rifling, Steady Rounds, Moving Target and Composite Stock. Nothing too crazy for either roll, so feel free to skip them.
The Exotic gear for the week includes Gwisin Vest (Hunter chest), One-Eyed Mask (Titan helm) and Apotheosis Veil (Warlock helm), each for 23 Legendary Shards. Unless you’re feeling nostalgic for the OEM in Crucible, which is a shadow of its former self, or don’t already have them, you can skip these too.
The Sovereign Armor from Season 1 is available, with each piece costing 50 Legendary Shards and 1000 Glimmer. Check out the latest Legendary weapons below:
