Synduality Officially Titled Synduality: Echo of Ada

Bandai Namco’s post-apocalyptic sci-fi mech shooter gets a new name and is releasing this year for Xbox Series X/S, PS5 and PC.

Remember Synduality, Bandai Namco’s post-apocalyptic third-person shooter announced at last year’s State of Play? During the Synduality Stage Event at AnimeJapan 2023, the publisher announced the official name to be Synduality: Echo of Ada.

There’s no new gameplay, but it’s still launching this year for Xbox Series X/S, PS5 and PC. The “Echo of Ada” part of the name comes from the artificial intelligence, or Magus, ADA, accompanying Alba Kuze, the protagonist, in his Coffin Cradle. Following the world’s devastation in 2222, players must gather AO Crystals to help power the city of Amasia.

Various Enders will try to stop you, leading to conflict. However, there’s an element of PvEvP as well, with other players present on the battlefield. You can either work together with them (especially if a massive Ender emerges) or fight for resources, not unlike The Division’s Dark Zone stages.

Stay tuned for more details and gameplay in the coming months. In the meantime, check out some of the concept art from Tokyo Game Show 2022.
