The third character in the current Season Pass is beginner-friendly, focusing on melee combat while enhancing her skills with Chasers.

Nexon’s latest DLC character for DNF Duel, the Battle Mage, is live on all platforms. Part of the $19.99 Season Pass (and available standalone for $6.99), she specializes in close-quarters melee combat with her spear. By generating magical Chases and consuming them, she gains powerful effects and attacks for an advantage.

Her Awakening Skill, “Quasar Explosion”, throws down a large Chaser, which creates an enormous explosion. Battle Mage is considered beginner-friendly, with Chaser usage having a higher skill ceiling. In addition to her arrival, a new stage, Meister’s Laboratory, is available for all players.

DNF Duel is available for PC, PS4, PS5 and Nintendo Switch. It recently launched on the Epic Games Store, and cross-play with Steam users is supported. The next two DLC characters arrive in 2024, so stay tuned for more details in the coming months.
