The remake is also available now on Xbox Series X/S, PS5, PS4 and PC. It’s received extensive critical acclaim thus far.
Capcom’s Resident Evil 4 Remake is available now on PS4, PS5, Xbox Series X/S and PC. A new trailer is available to celebrate the launch, but it also confirmed that The Mercenaries arrives as free DLC on April 7th.
The Mercenaries is a mini-game that sees players slaying enemies and earning enough points before evacuating in a chopper. Killing several enemies in a row provides combos while bosses dole out a staggering number. You can also extend a session by picking up time bonuses.
The 2005 original offered five playable characters with different weapons, items and abilities. Capcom hasn’t confirmed whether the mode is the same in the remake, but it’s still worth looking forward to.
