New PlayStation 5 Live-Action Ad Has Us Feeling Nostalgic This Holiday Season

The Holiday season is upon us, and PlayStation has come fully prepared as they’ve stocked up on the supply of the PS5, including the slimmer PS5 model, so that every one this season can pick one up. But of course, that means a massive marketing push, which PlayStation has started as a new live-action advert for the PS5 has begun airing, and it’ll probably make you feel a bit nostalgic.

PlayStation 5 Holiday 2023 Live-Action Ad – Feel It Now

Come on, try and tell me you didn’t feel that! The advert is very classic PlayStation with all its live-action set pieces and callbacks to their big popular franchises. This advert will be played throughout the Holiday 2023 season, and though it’s to market the PS5, PlayStation does have other products launching this season.

The PlayStation Portal Remote Play for PS5, for example, launches next week, on November 15.

Features and Pricing:

  • Adaptive triggers
  • Haptic Feedback
  • 8-inch vibrant 1080p 60 fps LCD screen
  • 3.5mm audio jack
  • 199.99 USD | 219.99 EURO | 199.99 GBP | 29,980 YEN.

And of course, as starring in the advert above, the new slimmer PS5 models should also now be available at select retailers, in both digital and physical models.

For all you new players, PlayStation has a growing library of hits, including the recently released Marvel’s Spider-Man 2 and so much more!

“Since swinging into our living rooms last month, Marvel’s Spider-Man 2 has captivated players with its epic storyline, two playable Super Heroes, and visually-stunning Marvel’s New York. In the past 12 months, PlayStation Studios and our partners have delivered a steady stream of critically-acclaimed hits, including God of War Ragnarök, Assassin’s Creed Mirage, Diablo IV, Hogwarts Legacy, Horizon Call of the Mountain, Mortal Kombat 1, Star Wars Jedi: Survivor, Street Fighter 6, Humanity, and remakes of Dead Space and Resident Evil 4.

These extraordinary experiences add to the best lineup of games in our history, which already includes fan-favorite PlayStation console exclusives like The Last of Us Part I, Final Fantasy XVI, Gran Turismo 7, Returnal, Demon’s Souls, Ratchet & Clank: Rift Apart, and Final Fantasy VII Remake.”

Lots to be excited about this Holiday season, though not just from PlayStation, but from gaming as a whole.
