Ubisoft has offered another new look at the upcoming free-to-play open world mobile action RPG.
Announced last year, Assassin’s Creed Codename Jade has turned quite a few heads over the last few months, what with its promise of a full-fledged open world action RPG experience being developed for mobile devices. As promised, recently at the Ubisoft Forward showcase, we got another brief new look at the game.
Though plenty of gameplay footage has previously leaked and shown what the mobile title’s combat, world, traversal, and more will look like, it’s worth mentioning against that it’s continuing to look like a surprisingly full-fledged Assassin’s Creed experience. Set in third century BCE China, it’s shaping up to be a promising game, from what’s been shown so far- though of course, as is the case with any free-to-play game (especially one on mobile), how it gets monetized will be a major factor in how it’s received.
Meanwhile, Ubisoft has also confirmed that registrations are now live for an upcoming closed beta, though a date for that is yet to be confirmed.
