LEGO Horizon Adventures Behind-the-Scenes Video Details its World, Machines, and More

The entirety of the game was built with actual virtual LEGO bricks, piece by piece, according to its developers.

A LEGOfied reimagining of Horizon Zero Dawn wasn’t something many of us would have expected would become an actual thing until not too long ago, but LEGO Horizon Adventures is very real, right around the corner, and looking genuinely promising. Ahead of its release, Sony has also showcased a behind-the-scenes video that shows developers from Guerrilla and Studio Gobo shedding more light on the game’s creation.

Interestingly enough, the entirety of LEGO Horizon Adventures was made of virtual LEGO bricks, which means every single character, machine, building, or shrub you see in the game is comprised of discrete bricks. The game’s LEGOfication also obviously comes with a healthy dose of the sort of humour and charm you’d expect.

The video also goes into detail on the game’s combat, co-op gameplay, and customization mechanics. As you’d expect, the latter is a particular area of focus, with customization options being available aplenty not only for Aloy herself, but also a hub village that players will be building up, expanding, and decorating. Check out the video below for more details.

LEGO Horizon Adventures launches on November 14 for PS5, Nintendo Switch, and PC.
