If you just started Dragon Quest XI S: Echoes of an Elusive Age, then you may want to get to work, because the 150 hour epic’s about to be removed from PS Plus Extra. While Sony doesn’t declare the exact date of any upcoming removals, it’ll almost certainly be 15th October, when the next batch of releases are rotated into the service.
The full list of titles on the chopping block include:
- Dragon Quest Builders
- Dragon Quest Builders 2
- Dragon Quest Heroes
- Dragon Quest Heroes 2
- Dragon Quest XI S: Echoes of an Elusive Age
- Gotham Knights
- LittleBigPlanet 3
- The Evil Within
- Toukiden Kiwami
- Ultra Street Fighter 4
It’s a shame to see all those Dragon Quest games cut, but they were added to the service almost exactly two years ago, so we guess Sony’s contract with Square Enix has expired. Gotham Knights is also scheduled to be culled from Game Pass at the end of the month.
Of course, there’s always a possibility they could return to the service in the future. Is there anything here that you’re particularly going to miss? Mourn its removal in the comments section below.
