Final Fantasy 7’s Tifa will also be involved in some sort of new gameplay mechanics in the third game of the remake trilogy.
Final Fantasy 7 Rebirth director, Naoki Hamaguchi, has stated that Tifa Lockhart will be getting more emphasis when it comes to showcasing her strength in the third game of the planned trilogy.
According to X (formerly Twitter) user Genki, who uses the platform to report gaming industry insights from Japan, Hamaguchi says Tifa in the third part of the Final Fantasy 7 Remake trilogy will be a much stronger character than in the first two games.
Along with having a generally stronger Tifa, the third game is also going to have a new gameplay system that will involve Tifa in some way. Unfortunately, no more details about the new system have been revealed so far.
Originally released on PS5 back in February, Final Fantasy 7 Rebirth has seen quite a strong critical reception.
