Ubisoft’s new story trailer for Prince of Persia: The Lost Crown has gone live ahead of The Game Awards 2023 courtesy of PlayStation Brazil. Though it’s since been pulled, @BossBigBoss73 on Twitter has a mirror. It offers more details on protagonist Sargon’s journey and his trials with some sleek new gameplay and cinematics on display.
The story sees Sargon, a member of The Immortals who ventures to Mount Qaf to save Persia’s kidnapped prince. After encountering his friend Vahram, who sees a vision of the kingdom in flames, Sargon gains the power to manipulate time. He embarks on a journey to save his friend while also contending with The Immortals, who have marked him as a traitor.
Prince of Persia: The Lost Crown launches on January 18th, 2024, for Xbox Series X/S, Xbox One, PS4, PS5, PC and Nintendo Switch. A demo will go live on January 11th, per the leaked trailer. Stay tuned for more details and the official trailer during The Game Awards, which airs today at 4:30 PM PT.
